Itinerary

Day 01: Guwahati

• Arrive at Guwahati Airport, visit Maa Kamakhya Temple en route to hotel.
• Afternoon: Optional Brahmaputra River Cruise (subject to availability & conditions).
• Evening at leisure. Dinner & overnight in Guwahati.

Day 02: Guwahati → Dirang (4910 ft)

• Breakfast, check out, drive to Dirang via scenic valleys and rivers.
• Check-in, evening free. Dinner & overnight in Dirang.

Day 03: Dirang → Tawang (10,000 ft)

• Breakfast, drive via Sella Pass (13,700 ft) & Jaswant Garh War Memorial.
• En route enjoy Dirang Valley views, apple & kiwi orchards.
• Check-in, dinner & overnight in Tawang.

Day 04: Tawang Sightseeing

• Visit Tawang Monastery, Urgelling Monastery, Ani Gompa & Buddha Statue.
• Explore War Memorial & enjoy evening light & sound show.
• Dinner & overnight in Tawang.

Day 05: Tawang Excursion – Bumla Pass

• Breakfast, excursion to Sangestar Lake (Madhuri Lake), Bumla Pass & China Border (permits required).

Day 08: Kaziranga Safari

• Early morning elephant safari & visit Orchid Garden.
• After breakfast, jeep safari in Central Range.
• Visit local village & tea garden (outer view). Dinner & overnight in Kaziranga.

Day 09: Kaziranga → Shillong

• Breakfast, drive to Shillong via Umiam Lake (Barapani).
• Evening free for leisure or shopping at Police Bazaar.
• Dinner & overnight in Shillong.

Day 10: Mawlynnong & Dawki Day Trip

• Visit Mawlynnong – Asia’s cleanest village, Skywalk & Living Root Bridge trek.
• Proceed to Dawki, boat ride on Umngot River & visit Bangladesh border.
• Return to Shillong for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 11: Cherrapunjee Day Trip

• Visit Elephant Falls, Duwan Sing Syiem viewpoint, Seven Sisters Falls & Nohkalikai Falls.
• Explore Mawsmai Cave.
• Return to Shillong, dinner & overnight stay.

Day 12: Shillong → Guwahati Airport

• Breakfast & drive to Guwahati Airport for onward journey.

The ideal time is from October to April when the weather is pleasant and Kaziranga is fully open for safaris.

Q. Do I need a permit for Tawang and Bumla Pass?

Yes, Indian citizens require an Inner Line Permit (ILP) and a special Army permit for Bumla Pass, which we arrange for our guests.

Q. Is this tour suitable for families with kids?

Yes, but high-altitude spots like Bumla Pass may not be suitable for very young children due to thin air and cold weather.

Q. What kind of accommodation is provided?
